DevOps Engineer

REMOTE (US based) | Full-time

Digital Onboarding is a Digital engagement platform built for financial services to help modernize their onboarding process and develop mutually beneficial, profitable relationships with their customers and members.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment and configuration management systems.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources.
• Develop and maintain support for compliance with data residency laws.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, building, and deployment of applications.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD process.

System Monitoring & Maintenance

• Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployment processes.

Security & Compliance

• Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices in the development and deployment processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company security policies.
• Maintaining robust alerting configurations to rapidly raise potential platform security and stability issues.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and quality assurance, to enhance collaboration and streamline processes.
• Provide clear and concise documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Capacity Planning & Optimization

• Perform capacity planning and optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement solutions.

Incident Response & Recovery

• Participate in on-call rotations to address and resolve incidents promptly.
• Develop and maintain incident response and recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
